Reflecting trends both in the Atlantic region as well as across the country we are introducing a summer staff support program this year to steward funds more effectively. Valuing the tremendous investment staff make in the lives of campers and knowing many simply cannot give an entire summer to serve at camp due to financial needs, we have created this program as an option for those prepared to serve and in need of additional support to avoid aversely affecting camper fees.

If you are called to serve the entire summer season you may choose to participate in this support program. Eligible positions are listed above and for many camp will contribute up to two thirds of the total support goal.

Working with you we will try to help you raise the support goal. Of course, there is no guarantee that all funds will be raised, but together we will do what we can and then trust God to provide for your needs. Simply put the program consists of you submitting a list of names to us of people to contact in raising the needed support funds (for example: your family, friends, local church). On your behalf we will then write these people, outlining your summer ministry and your support goal. We are also willing to work with your church to inform them of the need and their summer ministry opportunity. Funds collected will be distributed equally among participating staff according to regulations established by the Canada Revenue Agency.

We will include additional information on this program with your Letter of Offer should you be offered a funded position.

You may be offered a funded position this summer but prefer not to participate in this program. That's allowed as well. In this case you will still receive the camp contribution but not need to raise any additional funds.
